A wonderful vintage necklace & earrings set by Mitchel Maer for Christian Dior dating to the 1960s.

The set features a rhodium plated necklace set with clear paste stones with large jade green glass cabochons. The necklace has an adjustable hook clasp and is marked 'Mitchel Maer For Christian Dior' on the base of the central panel.

The earrings are set with matching glass cabochons in a slightly different colour tone and are finished with secure clip backs. The earrings are not marked but feature an identical design to the necklace and are clearly original.

There are some prongs missing around some of the smaller clear paste stones, mainly on the earrings. The stones remain secure in their settings and have all been individually checked. There is some light wear to small patches of the rhodium plating of the metal and I believe one link from the central panel may have been re-welded at some point. Please check the pictures carefully as I have tried to mention every tiny detail.

The set remains in good vintage condition overall with none of the wear being noticeable when the set is worn. It looks exceptional when worn.
